About
John Ferris Robben is a creative talent and an inventor, who has expressed himself in many fields. He studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatrical School and is a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild., and spent eight years modeling worldwide prestigious Ford Agency. His paintings have been exhibited at the Plaeides Gallery in Soho, NY, The Drawing Room in Cos Cob, CT and the Arcadia Coffee House in Old Greenwich, as well as the Silvermine in New Canann, CT. Robben currently has one published patent and six pending on Project Icewalker, an invention of his using three different leaf species to grip to ice, snow and oily surfaces. Prototype shoes were successfully used to climb a 20 degree ice slope, and continued research is being conducted with PhD’s at the University of CT and Wesleyan.
