For the third time this Late Winter/Early Spring high winds are knocking down trees and power lines in Greenwich.  At least 4 trees have gone down tonight that are creating problems.  Expect power outages again.

I put an empty glass outside last night at about 11PM…when I checked on it and measured it at 4PM it has about 3 inches of water.

An automated phone message received tonight at 5:30 from First Selectman Peter Tesei:    The Town of Greenwich advises you the National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the entire State of Connecticut.  The forcast anticipates heavy rain with accumulation ranging from 3 to as much as 8 inches of rain over the next [...]

In Riverside a fallen tree is the bench for a group portrait of Nicholas Plants, Thomas Hickman, Marjorie Plants, Aidan Cron, Sebastian Hickman and Nicholas Hickman. At 8:10 tonight I got two phone calls to photograph this…
