BREAKING NEWS: Serious Motor Vehicle Accident – Route 1 closed

September 3, 2010, 9:12 a.m. Greenwich Police Spokesman, Lieutenant Kraig Gray announced a short time ago that

West Putnam Ave at the New York State Line is closed.  No  East bound traffic into Greenwich from Port Chester via US1

The road is closed for an investigation after a  very serious Motor Vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. The GPD Traffic Section is at scene.
