Friday deserves a whimsical start — thus the headline above.
On this blog and elsewhere I have often disagreed with Ed Krumeich — always, I believe, respectfully — but today, I find myself not only agreeing with the op-ed piece Ed wrote in today’s Greenwich Time, but whole-heartedly endorsing Ed’s patriotic message.
Here is Ed’s “bottom-line” which I urge OurGreenwich readers to follow:
“Between now and June 20 please bring snack food, personal care items, toys and sports equipment to any Greenwich fire house, Police Headquarters and the Registrars office in Town Hall [for the Alpha Company of the 102nd Regiment of the 1st Battalion of the Connecticut National Guard, recently 'adopted' by the town of Greenwich]. For more information contact Bruce Winningham, (BWinningham@nothstarpartnersinc.com).”
