Greenwich Boys Club 2010 Youth of the Year Camryn Ferrara with 1971 Boy of the Year and Greenwich Parks and Rec. Director Joesph Sicliano tonight at the 100th Anniversary of the Boys Club and 42nd Awards Dinner.

A StrongStrong SINCERE sense of gratitude...not only from Camryn here with Don Palmer in this image...but from ALL who were honored in the past at this 're-named' Boys and Girls Club. The club used to be called "The Boys Club". It was suggested tonight that 'you dont know how much better it is now that you have 'girls' here.

Beautiful Cakes! As if it were a competition between the two of the Central Greenwich Bakeries...Saint Moritz and Black Forest Pastery...Versailles could be a future third cake. I'm sorry, I don't know who made which cake...both spectacular...and all three bakeries are delicious.

Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei with Greenwich Girls and Boys Club Staff...talking to Camryn Ferrara at the awards presentation.

At this table Sister Casey and Shannon Catalano. Shannon was the 2003 Youth of the Year and is a current Greenwich School Teacher. Their Father and Uncles sell the toughest boats for Long Island Sound. If you want to safely explore the Sound...visit the Catalanos in Byram...nobody knows Long Island Sound and boating like they do. They specialize in Grady-White boats and Yamaha engines.

How many TREES went down during our recent Wind Storm? 500, 700, 800 ... ? "Wind is caused by an area moving from 'higher' pressure to 'lower' pressure, as stated on Channel 162, National Geographic TV. So that's what happened. As I was writing this 'blog'...the 'air pressure info' was being broadcast from NatGeo...very timely. It's time to plant a lot of trees to make up for the loss.

Look at the beautiful wood in this Girls and Boys Club room. A long table...covered with framed photos...most of the photographs from decades ago.
