A photo virally spreading through the Internet shows two Connecticut legislators playing computer solitaire and a third watching the Yankees game on his computer screen during the budget debate.
Some have speculated that the faceless State Representative watching baseball was avid Yankee fan and part-time umpire State Representative Fred Camillo of Cos Cob. We can definitively say it is NOT Fred.
An enlargement of the photo shows Camillo — affectionately known as “Freddie” — at work at his desk. (See the top 2/3 of Fred’s head in the distance just above the head of the blond legislator playing solitaire. Click here for photo.)
Representative Camillo said he believes he knows the identity of the Representatives in the photo but, always the gentleman, he refused to state their names.
