New Greenwich Police Headquarter Ribbon-cutting Scheduled

Jul 28th, 2009, Greenwich — The tentative date for the ribbon-cutting for Greenwich’s new public safety complex was confirmed today. It will be Monday, August 24.

Government officials and local dignitaries will be on hand for the dedication event, which is also opened to the public. Interested parties will be given the opportunity to take a guided tour of the new facility after the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The building itself, excluding the lobby, garage, and mechanical spaces, is over 50,000 square feet.  The tour could take as much as 90 minutes. So, those wishing to see the space should wear comfortable shoes.
