DEADLINE APPROACHING for “Behind the Badge”

July 27 is the deadline for high school students who live in Greenwich to enroll in the first ever Greenwich Police Youth Academy — “Behind the Badge“- -for on training and education in the work GPD does.

Modeled after the tremendously successful GPD Citizens Police Academy, the session will run from August 4 through 20 and will entail crime scene investigation, ride-alongs on the police marine division boat, K-9 Interaction, and much more.

To participate the youth must be 16 years old or older by August 4, be a Greenwich resident and current high school student, and be able to pass a background check.
