BREAKING NEWS: Cos Cob Home Invasion

GPD News Release.

On May 22, 2009 at approximately 1241 hours the Greenwich Police Department received a 911 telephone call reporting a home invasion type robbery had occurred and a large knife was used in the commission of the crime. The crime occurred in the Cos Cob section of Greenwich.

The suspects are described as follows:

Three Asian Males in their mid twenties

One dressed in a dark colored suit, white shirt, and black tie

The other two wearing jeans with dark wind breaker type jackets

Two victims were restrained at the scene while the home was burglarized. The suspects fled the scene prior to the arrival of the first police unit.

It is believed that this crime specifically targeted the victims and that it was not a random crime of violence.

This crime is being actively investigated by the Greenwich Police Department Criminal Investigations Division. No further details will be released at this time.
