Greenwich RTC going to Gingrich event in Stamford

As first reported here on April 9, former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and author, Newt Gingrich will be at the Stamford Marriott on June 4th as the keynote speaker at the Connecticut Republican State Center Annual Prescott Bush Awards Dinner. Gingrich is mentioned as a potential Presidential candidate in 2012.

Reports are that members of the Greenwich RTC may be filling as many as 10 tables.  The dinner is honoring Stamford-resident, Lt. Governor Mike Fedele.

Apparently, because of the current economy, general admission ticket prices have been reduced this year to $200. Those wishing to contribute more than the $200 minimum tariff will have ample opportunity. The first 11 people to contribute $10,000 will be entitled to sit with the former Speaker. Those contributing at least $5,000 will have a “V.I.P. Meet and Greet with Speaker Gingrich prior to the event including a photo with Speaker Gingrich and priority dinner seating.A photo-op with Newt Gingrich, and dinner (without priority seating and the V.I.P. reception) costs $1,000.

All tickets are available by contacting Liz at 860-778-3766 or Stafford@ctgop.org
