Some internet definitioning of a rodent i guess...
I've got a new daytime feeder in my backyard this Summer. I'm not sure if He or She is Gofer, Nutrina or other type of rodent. Or, or is it someone's lost pet. Greenwich doesn't yet have the lost pet website that I've conceived, so we dont know. Is this your pet?
While my grass is being eatin' it not enough to keep the grass down to a respectable height. I was able to sneak up on "Seaweed" (it's new name, until the owner makes claim)......sneak up...by using an obstruction (a tree) to block the vision on the approach. (a typical hunting technique). Soon my slow movement and high tech camera peeked around the edge of the tree obstruction to 'capture' the images you see here. When I made myself obvious..."Seaweed" darted away after a brief fear-freeze motion.
