Arrest in Quarry Knoll Robbery

At approximately 1840 hours on 07/21/10 Greenwich Police Detectives arrested the below listed individual in relation to the incident that occurred at the residence in Quarry Knoll on 07/18/10. During the incident, the homeowner was accosted by an armed intruder as she slept. The intruder then stole cash, jewelry and credit cards from the victim and threatened her with physical violence if she did not comply with his demands.

Based on information provided by the victim and evidence collected as result of the attempted use of the credit card in Port Chester, NY; Detectives identified an individual who was an acquaintance of the victim as a possible suspect.

The suspect was located and agreed to appear at police headquarters to speak with Detectives. The subsequent interview resulted in the suspect making a full confession of his responsibility for this incident. After consultation with the State’s Attorneys staff, it was decided that a warrantless arrest was warranted in this instance.

A portion of the proceeds were recovered and there are no other suspects at this time.

Flores is being held on a $500,000.00 bond and will be arraigned in Stamford Superior Court on 07/22/10.
