For two weeks Sam was missing. Do you know what happened in the past 'two weeks'? Well....the most powerful storm in about 100 years and a RAIN STORM of about 5" (my personal count)... Maybe CATS have survival instincts that say, "get me to high ground, in a predetermined Osama like cave and away from the Noah Flood? This cat did just that!
It's not known where SAM was for the past two weeks, but SAM showed up today on the back porch. I have two cats...they get weighed...so...SAM was weighed at some point at about 12 pounds and came home at a little over 8 pounds. SAM may have invented the 'STORM DIET'. SAM is snuggled here in this photo like my cats sometimes do. SAM came from the Elmsford Animal Shelter in New York eleven years ago. My two cats came from the Greenwich Animals Shelter next to the Bruce Museum
