Government Games

Well, the House narrowly passed the 1,995 page “Affordable Health Care for America Act” close to midnight on Saturday night.

There was no 72-hour online version of the bill, as Speaker Nancy Pelosi had promised.

There was no “open door” discussion with C-SPAN in the room, as candidate Obama had promised.

And click here to look at the “concise and clear” way the House Clerk decided to report the vote.

So much for transparency and for change.  Same old government games.

I have but one question for our Congressman Jim Himes,  “Did you thoroughly read the entire bill before voting to pass this important bill?”

To ask our Congressman to answer that one single question click here and direct the Congresman to OurGreenwich.com.
