The SWAT PT (Physical Training) course had 20 Obstacle Stations a long a 6.2 Mile hilly dirt and rock path. Every step in the run had to be observed because the dirt path was embedded with loose 3 inch rocks that could easily create a twisted ankle.

At this obstacle the choice was 5 men must eat a hotdog, the other 3 climb the rope. Carlos Franco here chose to climb the rope at World Record Pace.

The 'obstacle' was to memorize a grid with some of the square filled in-in red. Chris Girard, Stanley Ouimette and Carlos Franco (standing) are seen here trying to quickly memorize the grid before it is turned over.

A three foot circumference drainage pipe under a roadway became the PT pathway, and then up the embankment and through the woods.

A waist deep section of the lake was another obstacle, and after 5.5 miles of the run probably a welcome relief.
