Your high schooler complaining about being “bored” this summer? Have them enroll in the first ever Greenwich Police Youth Academy (application deadline July 27) for hands-on training and education in the work GPD does.
Modeled after the tremendously successful GPD Citizens Police Academy, the session will run from August 4 through 20 and will entail crime scene investigation, ride-alongs on the police marine division boat, K-9 Interaction, and much more.
To participate the youth must be 16 years old or older by August 4, be a Greenwich resident and current high school student, and be able to pass a background check.
