Unlike Henrietta the Turkey of Last Year (Henrietta the Harrasser)...Skunky has not been removed from the Second Concession area /Flag Pole area. I have a photo of Deer at Tod's Point, I cant find it at the momment, but my Daughter/Photo Assistant reported that there is a very young/maybe 2 week old baby Deer at the beach.

I heard a noise that sounded like fluttering at my back door...I checked the back door area, nothing there....then another fluttering noise...but it sounded like it came from the fireplace. My fireplace is covered with a black plastic bag and sealed with electrican tape so the ash doesn't permeate the house....but something was inside. I was on the phone with a friend who lived in Martha's Vineyard when a bird freaked her out when it came into her unlit fireplace. So anyway, today a Woodpecker came into my chimney. I asked my newphew if he had a fishnet to capture the bird, he didn't, but my neighbor Andy did. Andy lent me his 'minnow net' to catch a frantic bird. It took a few minutes of 'fluttering and unique hiding' when I finally secured the woodpecker with the fishnet and then a towel to wrap it. The bird was released outside my house after I announced to another neighbor and his 4 year old daughter what would happen. I placed the securely net and towel wrapped woodpecker on the street outside my house and carefully opened the live package....flap flap flap...CLIRP! said the bird as it rose quickly into THE nearest tree for quick safety.
