What better way to cap National Police Week than with a new member added to the force.
A new Police Officer will be sworn in as a member of the Greenwich Police Department on Monday, May 18, 2009: Andres E. Sanchez will be sworn-in the Town Hall Meeting Room. Family and friends of the new officers have been invited to attend. As with all new officers, Officer Sanchez will be required to complete an eighteen-month probationary period commencing May 18, 2009.
Officer Sanchez resides in Danbury, CT. He is a graduate of Fox Lane High School in Bedford, NY. He attended SUNY Morrisville in Morrisville, NY and earned an A.S. degree in Sports Nutrition Fitness & Management in 2000. He then attended Rutgers University and graduated with a B.A. in Spanish in 2004. Andres currently works as a personal trainer. He is fluent in Spanish.
