Pi Day (aka 3.14) is celebrated by some Greenwich High School students with an annual Pi feast at Sam Schembari’s home in Old Greenwich. Teen pose with what’s left of their prize winning pies. Mario Figeroua made Banana Cream and Emily Canavan festooned her Key Lime Pie with a Pi symbol in citrus zest. They tied for 3rd place. Lanna Tokuhiro’s Cookie Pie (chocolate chip cookie in graham cracker crust) won second place and Katherine Winslow’s Blueberry Pie was voted the best. She won a copy of The Life of Pi by Yann Martel.
