President Bush focuses on seamless transition of power.

FROM WHITE HOUSE NEWS RELEASE:

Today, President Bush will meet with his Cabinet to discuss Administration-wide efforts taking place to ensure a seamless transition of power to the next Administration. They will also discuss the important issues we face in the coming weeks and months, including the Global Financial Summit, the free trade agreements that need to be approved by Congress, our efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, and our commitment to ensuring the safety of the American people.

Next, President Bush will speak to employees of the Executive Office of the President to express his appreciation for their hard work and dedication on behalf of the American people.  He will also express the importance of a seamless transition of power during the next few months and will ask them to continue doing everything to ensure that the next administration is prepared to hit the ground running on their first day.
