Politico.com is reporting that the Obama transition team is limiting the role of lobbyists. Lobbyists cannot help with the transition in subject areas in which they have lobbied within the last 12 months, and will be banned from lobbying for 12 months after the Inauguration in subject areas where they do help with the transition.
Maybe change really IS in store!
